What can you make with an old towel and some scraps from your fabric stash? This sweet rug! I sewed this up yesterday and I LOVE how it turned out! I am working on the pattern, so you can make your own.
ADDED BONUS: You can make this with Jelly Roll Strips!

I love this rug. I have been looking for ideas to use my stash of material. Would love to know how you attached to the towel. I assume you quilted it together. Were there any secrets to sewing on the thick towel materal.
